Mike Dame is a correspondent and editor of Gator Bites for Mainstreet Daily News. After a career as a sports reporter and digital media pioneer at the Orlando Sentinel, he was a marketing and communications leader at Virginia Tech and the Carilion Clinic health system in Roanoke, Virginia. During his time at the Sentinel, Mike covered the Florida Gators, NFL, NASCAR, and more. The former Heisman Trophy voter and AP college football poll voter earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Florida and an MBA from Rollins College in Winter Park.
