
Blossoming Butterfly will hold its grand reopening at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:45 p.m.
The new office is located at 6787 W. Newberry Rd. in Gainesville. The public is invited to attend.
Breast cancer awareness month started on Oct. 1, which means numerous businesses and charities will have events to recognize this month’s significance.
Blossoming Butterfly is a non-profit organization that supports, educates, and inspires those affected by breast, ovarian, and uterine cancer, according to their website.
The team helps provide necessities such as financial assistance, community resources, referrals, health and beauty resources, and support for family members and those impacted by certain cancers.
The organization has fundraising events like the Shades of Pink Fundraising Gala on Saturday and community events like the first Pinktober Pinknic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 6711 W. Newberry Rd., which brings awareness to all cancers.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Blossoming Butterfly helps spread the word with resources for breast, ovarian, and uterine cancer patients and survivors.
