Breaking News: Employees at four Publix locations in Gainesville test positive for COVID-19

 A Publix Super Markets spokesperson confirmed on June 27th that employees at four store locations in Gainesville have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Media Relations Manager Nicole Maristany Krauss, “We can confirm that associates who work at stores 680, 735, 1312 and 435 have tested positive for COVID-19.”

The stores are located at 3100 SW 35th Blvd. at Esplanade At Butler Plaza, 9200 NW 39th Ave. in Springhill Commons, 3930 SW Archer Rd. at Butler Plaza West and 5200 NW 43rd St. at Hunter’s Crossing.

“As an essential service provider, the health and well-being of our customers, associates and communities are our top priority,” Krauss said in a statement.

Employees who test positive are quarantined and will receive paid leave for 14 days to recover from the illness, according to Krauss.
