Why does everything go to the west side of Gainesville? There is already too much congestion
All of these stores would be perfect for east Gainesville
Make it it make sense
How exactly would these stores be perfect for east Gainesville?
It would offset all the bankruptcies in west Gainesville 🤷🏿♂️
You asked why ?? Because shopping instead of shopping on the west side of town ?? Isn’t it because we’re poor over here!! And I say shame on those businesses that put wealth ahead of poor people and the ones shopping is poor people and we pay the same taxes on this side of town and see NOTHING HERE FOR OUR TAXES DOLLARS WHYS THAT,, just look at all those apartments for rich student and why can’t we get those apartments built in east Gainesville I used to live in Hawthorne and had to move to west Gainesville in back of hospitals because of cancer, no this has nothing to do with shopping,, but only Gainesville residents get to vote on city taking over GRU I SAY STOP WASTING TAX DOLLARS ON THIS SHIT BECAUSE MY RATES HAVE COME DOWN,, sense moving to Gainesville 11 years ago city has redone Main Street 4 maybe 5 and that’s wasteful spending that’s why you want control of GRU to waste more money????? Instead of helping to get new apartments in east side of Gainesville where we would like to have a new apartment instead of student rundown housing that they tore up and poor people paying high rent for rundown apartments the same thing the students paying for new high rises apartments so I say shame on you city council and then you want to raise your income higher I say for what,, the governor needs to come and see the wasteful spending on housing and richer people when the money should help east Gainesville???????????????😡
I understand your frustration, but I lived in SE for a year, and in the time I lived there, the Save-a-lot had an armed guard working there and finally closed. The Family Dollar had its front door and front window smashed in several times. Dollar General got robbed at gunpoint several times. Cars at WalMart are constantly getting broken into. If y’all could get rid of the drug and crime problems, people would be more than happy to help you, but until then, it sadly just isn’t going to happen. I hate that for you, but that’s the reality of it.
Frankly (not trying to be insensitive but..) East Gainesville is too ghetto and has too much crime . They go hand-in-hand. Anyone who has lived in Gainesville knows that the people who generate incomes and live stable livers and are lawbiding gravitate to west side. I know and accept in advance this will infuriate some of our gentle readers but keeping it real means some feelings are hurt so toughen up and learn from it.
“…Perfect for East Gainesville…??? Really? Where did you study marketing and economics GatorBear!!!
Yes. Arnald Palmer and lululemon. Because a shortage of golf gear and yuppie housewife yoga gear is the #1 problem in East Gainesville. Them stores will fix it.
All very boring.
