“Everyone loves cookies. Gainesville was ready for us, and we’re excited to be open in Gainesville,” owner Tanner Reaveley said in a phone interview.

Reaveley said the turnout for the grand opening was great and that the store gave away 1,800 free cookies.

The opening saw droves of cookie lovers driving in to try it.

“For the people who drove up from Ocala, we have a store there that is scheduled to open around March,” said Reavely.

Crumbl Cookies is known for its weekly rotating menu with six different cookie flavors each week. The shop offers unique options inspired by other confectionary delights. This week’s cookies are milk chocolate chip, chocolate crumb cake, gingerbread cake, chocolate raspberry truffle, caramel shortbread and lemon poppy seed.

The Gainesville store is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and is closed on Sundays.
