Gainesville will receive a big taste of Italy when DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go opens across from UF’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium with its fast-casual, fresh pasta concept.
The grand-opening event will take place Thursday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. at 16 NW 18th St., Ste. 120, and the first 100 customers will receive a free pasta card to be used on their next visit. The restaurant will also hold giveaways of complimentary tiramisu and bagged fresh pasta, and will feature special guest “Tony Rigatoni,” who will be available for photo opportunities.
DalMoros features a variety of fresh pastas and homemade sauces made from scratch daily, with each meal served in to-go boxes and ready within minutes. The restaurant’s menu includes garlic breadsticks, meatballs, tiramisu, soft drinks and gluten-friendly options are available.
“We are ready to feed Gator Nation,” said DalMoros’s David Caruso Jr. in a press release. “After just celebrating a successful opening in Orlando, we couldn’t be happier to expand into Gainesville. Gainesville is the perfect location for DalMoros, where we know college students will love the taste and convenience of our fresh pasta to go. We could not have a better location than right across from ‘The Swamp’, and we look forward to turning hungry Gator fans into DalMoros fans and continuing to grow the incredible brand nationwide.”
The DalMoros locations in Florida include St. Petersburg, Tampa, Delray Beach, Orlando and Gainesville, along with Massachusetts restaurants in Boston and Cambridge, with future locations planned for New York City, Philadelphia, Austin, San Antonio and Washington, D.C.
The restaurant’s hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
