Audi Gainesville has been sold to E1T1 Automotive Group out of Texas, according to a Wednesday press release from Haig Partners LLC.
Haig Partners served as an advisor to E1T1 Automotive Group, led by Jarryd Carver. Audi Gainesville (1920 North Main St.) will be Carver’s first Florida dealership, the press release said. It’ll also be the company’s first entrance into the luxury market.
“We are excited to become part of the Audi family,” Carver said in the release. “This acquisition represents growth aligned with a brand known for innovation, performance and excellence. We will continue to serve our employees and the Gainesville community with excellence and integrity, building on the strong foundation already in place.”
Audi Gainesville was previously owned by Warren Henry Automotive Group in Miami. The company owns 13 dealerships in Key West and South Florida. According to the press release, the company decided to realign its portfolio as it continues to invest in key metro areas.
“Audi Gainesville has been a meaningful part of our portfolio, and this transaction reflects a disciplined portfolio decision that supports our long-term strategic objectives,” Erik Day of Warren Henry Automotive Group said in the release.
The release said Audi Gainesville is positioned for long-term success.
