Grove Street Games will soon be opening at Tioga Town Center in May.
The cross-platform game development studio is known for partnerships with other game publishers and their own self-published work, including Grand Theft Auto and ARK.
Grove Street Games — originally launched in 2007 under the name War Drum Studios—have delivered fresh and original games to millions of players over their years in business. Since opening, they have become a leader in the industry due to their commitment to building incredible and accessible gaming experiences. Their games are available worldwide across all major gaming devices, including consoles, PC, Android, and iOS.
“We’re elated to welcome Grove Street Games to Tioga Town Center,” said Cheryl Carroll, regional asset manager for Hankin Group. “We are so proud to have yet another locally-owned business joining our Tioga community.”
Grove Street aims to create a new norm for game development studios. With unrealistic expectations surrounding the gaming industry that sometimes leads to toxic environments for passionate and creative people, Grove Street hopes to break this stigma by developing successful and in-depth games while emphasizing work-life balance and diversity for their team.
Grove Street Games also gives back to the community by donating to local charities and organizations, and helping students grow through internships and resume assistance.
Grove Street Games joins other businesses recently joining the Tioga Town Center that include Big Island Bowls, Momentum Dance Arts, and Engel & Völkers, with Roots Salon also set to open soon.
