ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake City is now open following the completion of its $31 million, 36-bed facility near Regal UA Cinema 90.
The facility (198 SW Real Terrace Drive) anticipates serving 650 patients annually and is located on 7.5 acres off U.S. 90. The construction project was initially announced in August 2023.
Announced by The Sanders Trust, the facility has private rooms, a rehabilitation gym, dining room and daily living spaces. The hospital will serve patients recovering from disabling injuries or illnesses like strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease and other complex conditions.
Rance Sanders, president and CEO of The Sanders Trust, called the new facility an important milestone in the trust’s mission.
