After 15 years serving Alachua County off of Archer Road, Okito America will expand to a second location in the early fall off of W. Newberry Road.
Construction has already started, and the new facility will allow the business to expand from its roster of 350 students. Okito America will also hire 20 new staffers to operate the additional location.
“I am elated to get this opportunity to expand the Okito America brand and offer our unique blend of services to even more students in Alachua County,” Orlando Millan, owner of Okito America, said in a press release. “Our team works extremely hard to provide each student with a place to build confidence through achievement, and their success is reflective of the number of students we have in our classes, as well as those waiting to get in.”
The martial arts studio features childcare, summer camps, afterschool programs, dance classes and birthday parties.
