Potbelly Sandwich Works announced it will be opening two stores in Gainesville.
The company recently announced it would be opening 20 units in the Central Florida and Tampa markets, along with 14 in Broward County and two in Gainesville.
The sandwich shop partnered with Rami Boaziz, CEO of Stellar Hospitality, with plans to reach more than 2.000 locations by 2032. They currently have 425 shops nationwide.
“I grew to love the Potbelly brand during my time as a Chicago resident and am extremely excited for the opportunity to be a partner with Potbelly and grow its presence in the Florida market,” said Boaziz in a press release.
Potbelly emulates the neighborhood sandwich shop with the convenience of fast-food service. The shop offers toasted sandwiches, salads, and hand-dipped shakes that can be customized by customers.
