This week the tech company is offering a series of explanatory webinars on topics ranging from business applications to educator guides and a deep dive on how to use every layer of the chat feature.

ZOOM is based in San Jose, Calif., employs more than 4,400 employees worldwide and became ubiquitous during the COVID-19 pandemic—although it was founded in 2011. CEO Eric Yuan started it with a mission to: “Deliver happiness and bring teams together in a frictionless video environment.”

Starting Tuesday, Zoom is offering presentations, such as “Everything Zoom” at 4 p.m.

The webinar description: “Join Zoom experts to learn the basics of Zoom Meetings, how to stream to a wider audience using Zoom Video Webinars, how to bring Zoom into your conference rooms with one touch to join, and we will wrap up with an overview of our latest product, Zoom Phone.”

The webinar “Get to Know Zoom Chat” starts at 2 p.m. Tuesday. It will include a feature overview, tips to organize chats and channels, and a live Q&A.

At 1 p.m. Wednesday “Zoom Phone 101” is scheduled. It will cover phone communication from both desktop computers and mobile applications, plus “key Zoom Phone features, including the advanced admin dashboard experience, shared line appearance, call queues, and more.”

Also Wednesday, “Zoom Webinars vs Meetings” is scheduled at 4 p.m. “Both Zoom meetings and video webinar empower users to host an engaging and interactive online event, however, there are key differences,” according to the webinar description.

Daily live demos are also offered at various times on many Zoom topics.

For example, Zoom expert Raul Montes hosts a tour of Zoom’s video-first unified communications suite. “We’ll cover the basics of Zoom Meetings and dive into all the must-know features such as calendar integrations, recording, screen sharing, annotation, and virtual backgrounds,” the description states. What’s more, we’ll give a comprehensive overview of Zoom Video Webinars, Zoom Rooms, Chat, and Zoom Phone.”

For teachers and students the webinar “An Educator’s Guide to Teaching over Zoom” addresses how to schedule a meeting and office hours and tips for managing online classrooms.
