A man suffering from a gunshot wound on NE 55th Boulevard in Gainesville was transported to the hospital Sunday evening.
An Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) release stated that multiple calls came in around 6:50 p.m. on Sunday regarding shots fired in the area of 104 NE 55th Blvd.
When deputies arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed with one occupant suffering from a gunshot wound.
Alachua County Fire Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital where his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
