A two-hour standoff ended Tuesday night when SWAT teams from Union and Bradford County arrested a man.
According to a Union County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO) release, the UCSO requested assistance from the Bradford and Union County SWAT team around 11 p.m. after a subject made threats to harm law enforcement.
The suspect, Mario Molina, barricaded himself in his residence and refused orders to surrender when the SWAT team arrived.
Following a two-hour standoff, the SWAT team was able to apprehend Molina and take him into custody.
UCSO arrested Molina and charged him with felony domestic battery by strangulation and resisting without violence.
