The Levy County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Allen Miller, 33, on New Year’s Eve for killing his brother, Jeremy Miller, 50.
According to a release, deputies arrived around 5 p.m. to Manatee Farms subdivision in Chiefland following a 911 call about a domestic argument between two brothers. Law enforcement found Jeremy with a fatal gunshot to the head and Michael in the shed on the property, where both brothers lived.
The release said that Michael surrendered to law enforcement after a short standoff.
He has been charged with murder.
