A 54-year-old man was arrested after he stole a hearse and was responsible for a five-vehicle collision at NW 8th Avenue and NW 34th Street in Gainesville on Sunday.

According to a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) social media post, the suspect took a hearse from a Chestnut Funeral Home. He then crashed the vehicle at NW 8th Avenue and 34th Street at 1:35 p.m.
No one was injured in the collision and the suspect was arrested.
