Dunnellon man killed in hit-and-run north of Bronson

A 34-year-old Dunnellon man was hit and killed early Thursday morning while walking along NE 110th Lane north of Bronson.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, an unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian between 4 and 5:45 am. on NE 110th Lane about 150 feet north of NE 109th Street.

Emergency responders declared the pedestrian deceased on scene at 5:53 a.m.

So many hit and run fatalities! It is sad to think that there are that many people out there who think it’s okay to leave someone for dead on the side of the road after hitting them.
