Gainesville Police are seeking assistance in the alleged shooting death of a man at The Park apartments early Tuesday morning.
According to a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) release, officers were dispatched at 1:13 a.m. to 3643 SW 20th Ave. about several calls from citizens hearing gunshots and one person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a male subject suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders from Gainesville Fire Rescue and Alachua County Fire Rescue pronounced the victim dead.
GPD asks anyone with information about the shooting or with video/video clips of the shooting or suspicious activity around the time of the incident to call 352-393-7681. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 352-372-7867.
