Gainesville police officers responded to David’s BBQ for shots fired and a vehicle crash on Friday morning.
According to a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) release, officers responded to 521 NE 23rd Ave. for an altercation that occurred between two parties who were fleeing the scene after shots were fired and a vehicle crash. One person involved with the incident remained on scene.
The two people who fled the scene came to the GPD headquarters lobby to make a report.
The incident remains under investigation.
