A Tuesday morning shooting at the Value Lodge on SW 13th Street in Gainesville injured one man.
According to a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) release, officers responded to the Value Lodge at 2000 SW 13 St. around 11:07 a.m. after receiving calls about shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers found that an adult male shot another adult male in the upper leg.
Emergency responders transported the victim to UF Shands Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located and detained the suspect and detectives are investigating the incident.
