Troopers found McLendon unresponsive in the driver’s seat and, after several attempts to elicit a response by first responders, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from emergency responders who transported McLendon to the Lake City Medical Center.

McClendon, who was later transported to the Columbia County Detention Facility, was charged with trafficking in Fentanyl of four grams or more, drug equipment possession and driving under the influence.
