Lake City pullover leads to foot chase

An attempted vehicle stop turned into a foot chase Friday evening in Lake City.

According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), troopers attempted to stop a sport utility vehicle (SUV) on U.S. Highway 90 at SE Hernando Avenue around 6:30 p.m. The SUV traveled south on SE Hernando, pulled over at SW Saint Johns Street and once stopped, the three occupants exited the SUV and fled on foot with two running east from the vehicle and one running west.
