Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies arrested four minors who were attempting to break into vehicles at the Reflections Apartments in Gainesville on Sunday morning.
According to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) release, deputies responded to SW 75th Street after receiving multiple calls from people stating they saw four juveniles attempting to break into vehicles.
Upon arrival, deputies set up an area of containment at the apartment complex, where they were able to detain two males, ages 15 and 13. Law enforcement identified the other two juveniles after questioning the detained suspects.
While on scene, a citizen approached deputies and disclosed the whereabouts of the other two suspects. Law enforcement responded to the mentioned location and took the other two males, both 15 years old, into custody.
All four suspects were arrested and charged with Attempted Conveyance Burglary and Loitering and Prowling.
