Starke hit-and-run on US 301 kills Maryland man

A white pickup truck hit and killed a 61-year-old Maryland man walking along US Highway 301 in north Starke on Saturday night.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the white pickup was traveling south on US 301 near NW 185th Avenue at 8:12 p.m. in the right lane when the driver struck the pedestrian from Fort Washington, Maryland.

The pickup did not stop and fled the scene and was last seen traveling south on US 301.

Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to HCA Starke Emergency where he was pronounced deceased.

Truly sick people out there in the world these days. What happened to humanity, humility, helping thy neighbors, caring for other. I definitely was not raised to turn a blind eye to anyone. Please learn to love, be kind, and stay on God’s path.
For there are too many devil worshipping people out there already.
