The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is investigating a shooting that injured three people in west Gainesville early Tuesday morning.

According to the ACSO, deputies responded to reports of gunfire just after 2 a.m. around the 5900 block of SW 20th Avenue, which is near the overpass with I-75.

ACSO spokesperson Art Forgey said deputies did not immediately find anything in the area, but a local hospital soon reported three male patients had arrived with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
