Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) deputies are investigating a shooting at the Westgate Manor Mobile Home Park in Gainesville on Sunday evening.
According to an ACSO release, deputies responded to 5816 SW Archer Rd. on Sunday evening to the reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered evidence of a shooting but did not locate any victims at the scene.
An area hospital contacted law enforcement a short time later after a person arrived with a gunshot wound related to the incident.
Details remain limited in the investigation and detectives are interviewing witnesses and following up on leads.
