The charges stem from a Feb. 20, 2021 incident when Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) deputies responded to a shooting at the Willy Mart on 20551 US 27 in Williston. The investigation identified Frederick Williams as the suspect who fatally shot 18-year-old Khajon Spikes.

The investigation also identified Sydney Frasier Jr., 32, as the codefendant and driver of the vehicle Williams used to flee the scene after the shooting.

Judge William E. Davis presided over the charge of plea hearing.

Frasier was previously found guilty after pleading to accessory after the fact for his role in the murder.
