With the start of a new school year right around the corner, the state of Florida is offering families some relief when it comes to purchasing essential supplies.

Gov. Ron DeSantis recently announced the return of the state’s back-to-school sales tax holiday, which kicks off Friday.

But instead of having two weeks to do their shopping, families now have an entire month to save on school supplies, with the sales tax holiday continuing through Aug. 31.
