The Alachua County Public School district invites incoming kindergarten students and families to attend its Kindergarten Round-Up at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
The roundup aims for students to familiarize themselves with the school and staff before the first day of classes on Aug. 10, and each family will visit the school their child will attend. Campus tours and a chance to talk with staff will be available.

To start the registration process, families can visit the enrollment page on the district website. Schools will remain open during the summer to assist with enrollment, a press release said.
