The Education Foundation of Alachua County (EFAC) has opened the Senior Scholarship program for the spring of 2026 to all Alachua County Public Schools (ACPS) seniors.

According to an EFAC release, the program portal is open to ACPS high school seniors until Wednesday, Feb. 18. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $6,000 for the seniors who meet the scholarship’s criteria.

Students need to complete one application to be considered for the over 80 scholarships they may be eligible for, the release said. These scholarships help ACPS students pay for college expenses like tuition, fees, housing and books.

In 2025, the Education Foundation awarded $184,000 to 85 ACPS students through the Senior Scholarship program. These scholarships were sponsored by local businesses, families and community organizations.

“We are grateful to the organizations and families who have partnered with The Education Foundation to make these scholarships possible,” Tia Brock-Paul, executive director of the EFAC, said in the release. “Their contributions are creating opportunities that will help shape the futures of our Alachua County students.”
