The Classic Learning Test (CLT) recently named two students from The Frazer School as 2025 CLT10 National Award winners for their performance on the CLT10, a college preparatory exam and alternative to the PSAT and PreACT.
According to a Frazer School press release, the 2025 CLT10 National Award honors students who earned the 50 highest scores in the country on the CLT10 as 10th graders during the 2024-25 academic year.
The two National Award winners from The Frazer School are Watson Inglett and Sylvia Guo.
“Watson and Sylvia are both deep, dynamic thinkers who exemplify strong character and work ethic,” Melissa Halpern, a ninth-grade English teacher at The Frazer School, said in the release. “I am very proud of them for this accomplishment and grateful to CLT for this opportunity to exhibit their brilliance.”
More than 20,000 ninth and 10th-grade students across the nation took the exam this year, the release said, putting National Award winners in the top 1% of testers.
In addition to being recognized for their academic excellence, CLT10 National Award winners also receive a $2,500 scholarship. This scholarship is applicable at over 300 colleges that partner with CLT, the release said.
