Oak Hall School recently announced an enrollment of 957 students for the 2025-26 academic year, making it the highest in the school’s history.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Oak Hall made the decision to cap enrollment numbers to prioritize the safety of its students, families and faculty.
“We placed the health and well-being of our community first, even when it meant limiting the number of students we could serve,” Dr. James Hutchins, Head of School at Oak Hall in Gainesville, said in a press release. “To see our enrollment now at an all-time high is both a reflection of the trust families place in Oak Hall and a testament to the incredible work of our faculty and staff.”
The release notes that enrollment has steadily increased across all divisions at Oak Hall, from the Lower School through the Upper School.
“This record enrollment is not just about numbers, it’s about the strength of our mission,” Nancy Coleman, director of enrollment management at Oak Hall, said in the release. “Families are seeking a place where students are known, challenged, and inspired, and Oak Hall continues to deliver on that promise. “We are excited to welcome both new and returning families into another extraordinary year.”
