Oak Hall School in Gainesville recently announced the launch of its “Two Spaces. One Vision” campaign, which will help fund the construction of two new gymnasiums.
The release stated that the campaign has already received early leadership gifts and support from alumni, families and friends of the school.
“This is an exciting time for Oak Hall,” Dr. James Hutchins, Head of School at Oak Hall, said in a press release. “Our mission has always been to empower students to pursue their passions, whether academic, artistic, or athletic. With these new facilities, we are creating spaces that meet daily needs while fostering connection, collaboration, and school spirit.”
According to the release, the new gymnasiums will:
- Provide enhanced athletic facilities for physical education, team practices and competitions.
- Serve as multipurpose spaces for school gatherings, performances and community events.
- Create opportunities for wellness, leadership and collaboration across all grade levels.
Oak Hall invites members of the community to also become involved “in building a legacy that will strengthen the student experience for years to come.”
“These spaces will touch every Oak Hall student, from preschool through 12th grade,” Karin Montini, Associate Head of School at Oak Hall, who is also leading advancement efforts, said in the release. “They reflect our vision for a community where wellness, academics, and school pride come together in meaningful ways. “We are grateful to our donors who are helping make this vision a reality.”
