Santa Fe College to host regional college fair at Blount Center

Santa Fe College will be host to a regional College Fair featuring more than 50 colleges, universities and trade schools on Wednesday at the Santa Fe College Blount Center in Gainesville.

The free event will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with free parking at the Blount Center, 530 W. University Ave.

Many in-state universities have registered tables at the College Fair, including the University of Florida, and most of Santa Fe College’s guaranteed transfer partners, such as UNF, USF, FAMU, FIU and New College of Florida. Also participating will be prominent out-of-state schools, the University of Georgia, the University of Alabama, and Southern Methodist University.

The booths will provide information along with an opportunity to meet with representatives of the schools. There will also be information about financial aid and other college topics.

Host Santa Fe College will have representatives available from multiple programs and student services offices, including Honors, Achieve, business programs, health sciences, IPS, construction and many more.
