The University of Florida Board of Trustees will consider proposals to increase the market tuition rates for 10 graduate programs at a special meeting Tuesday, Nov. 10.

The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Emerson Alumni Hall in Gainesville. If approved, the increases would take effect beginning in fall 2027.

The proposed increases affect three graduate programs in the UF College of Pharmacy and seven graduate programs in the Warrington College of Business. The proposals would not affect tuition or fees for undergraduate students in either college or elsewhere at UF.

College of Pharmacy

The proposed market tuition rates for the three College of Pharmacy programs are:

  • Master of Science in Pharmacy with a major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and concentration in Pharmaceutical Sciences (four tracks): $750 to $850 per credit hour.
  • Master of Science in Pharmacy with a major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and concentration in Individualized Medicine (formerly Medication Therapy Management/Individualized Medicine): $650 to $745 per credit hour.
  • Master of Science in Pharmacy with a major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and concentration in Pharmaceutical Sciences (five tracks): $575 to $635 per credit hour.

Student fees for the programs would remain $35.75 per credit hour.

UF said the proposed increases would reflect program growth and rising maintenance costs, including dedicated teams supporting student services, instructional design and student success.

Additional revenue would help maintain competitive salaries for faculty and staff supported entirely by the programs and fund investments in new technologies, including artificial intelligence-supported assessments and collaborations with industry stakeholders.

Warrington College of Business

The proposed market tuition rates for the seven Warrington College of Business programs are:

  • Doctor of Business Administration: $1,765 to $1,960 per credit hour.
  • Weekend Part-Time One-Year MBA, Jacksonville: $1,500 to $1,615.50 per credit hour.
  • Weekend Part-Time Two-Year MBA, Jacksonville: $1,208.33 to $1,272.37 per credit hour.
  • Professional MBA in South Florida, two-year, Miami: $1,354.17 to $1,398.86 per credit hour.
  • Online One-Year MBA: $1,500 to $1,615.50 per credit hour.
  • Online Two-Year MBA: $1,208.33 to $1,272.37 per credit hour.
  • Executive MBA: $1,270.83 to $1,335.64 per credit hour.

Student fees for the Warrington programs would remain $37.65 per credit hour.

For the Doctor of Business Administration program, UF said the proposed increase would support costs associated with increased cohort sizes, proprietary research datasets and visiting scholar presentations. The additional revenue would help sustain those investments and keep the program competitive while supporting students in completing high-quality dissertations and graduating on time.

For the Weekend Part-Time One-Year MBA and Two-Year MBA programs in Jacksonville and the Professional MBA in South Florida, the proposed increases would support growing costs associated with faculty instruction, food service, on-site operations staff, employer relations and career development. The additional revenue would also support infrastructure and career services.

For the Online One-Year MBA and Online Two-Year MBA programs, the proposed increases would support investments in teaching and learning technology and professional educational technology personnel. Online MBA students would also have access to employer relations and career development professionals in Gainesville, Jacksonville and South Florida.

In addition to enhanced career development services in Gainesville for Executive MBA students, UF said its Miami and Jacksonville hubs will support learners across Warrington College of Business programs.
