A pickup hit and killed a bicyclist on a service road off SW Archer Road on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) social media post, a gray Toyota pickup hit the bicyclist – a 37-year-old man – on a service road off the 3500 block of SW Archer Road behind Kohls around 12:50 p.m.
The pickup fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The vehicle has tinted windows and likely damage to its front end, according to the post.
Just like the previous hit and run, this cowardly disregard for humanity needs to be stopped.
20 years in prison, minimum.
Gray Toyota pickup with tinted windows? Hopefully ya’ll can detail the description a little better because I’ve seen big small dark gray light gray etc Toyota pickups all around this morning
