The Amazing Give 2026 raised over $1.1 million for area nonprofits on Thursday, just $100,000 shy of its goal.
The Junior League of Gainesville announced the results on Friday and said there’s still time to fill the gap, with post-giving open through May 7.
“We are so close to our $1.2 million goal, and it’s all thanks to the generosity, passion, and support of YOU,” The league said on Facebook. “Every gift is making a real difference across our community.”
The league said most nonprofits were within 10% of their own fundraising goals.
This is the 10th edition of The Amazing Give, which has raised over $13 million for North Central Florida nonprofits. This year, 120 nonprofits were registered to take part. Learn more at The Amazing Give website.

Thank you to the Junior League for putting on this boost for our nonprofits each year. It’s a fantastic way to support our community in so many ways. I would like to suggest that when a donor checks out, there is a sliding scale for donating a processing/administrative fee. I think that would encourage more people to give something, even if not the full recommended amount.
