Gainesville police concerned by rash of car burglaries after three separate incidents last night

Officers from the Gainesville Police Department responded to two separate conveyance burglaries and one stolen vehicle incident last night at the 1000 block of NW 10th Avenue and the 2500 block of NW 9th Street (Chelsea Apartments).

The stolen vehicle, a 1999 Green Toyota Tacoma, was taken from 1250 W. University Avenue. 

These incidents are part of a growing trend of car burglaries occurring in Gainesville.
