Gainesville will hold its third City Services Fair on Saturday at the Senior Recreation Center.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at 5701 NW 34th Blvd.
The fair allows citizens to talk with city staff from different departments about programs or problems. Other organizations will also take part, including the Alachua County Crisis Center, Peaceful Paths, the Alachua County Library District and The Salvation Army.
From the city, employees will be available to answer questions on affordable housing, down payment assistance, housing rehabilitation, mortgage foreclosure help, renter/homeowner assistance, energy efficiency upgrades and job opportunities.
The city will also give away trees at the event and host a tire collection roundup. Refreshments and food will be available.
Gainesville started the City Services Fair in June 2022 to connect citizens with city services. The events are now being held every three months.
