The city of Gainesville is hosting meetings to notify the community of funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

There will be four in-person meetings and one virtual meeting. The meetings will allow the community to ask questions about the funding.

The funding is through the HUD Community Development Block Grant Program and HOME Investment Partnerships Program. These programs are in place to support housing, assist the homeless, provide employment assistance and nutritional support for at-risk youth or the elderly.
