The city of High Springs has opened applications for the Mayor’s Youth Council, an opportunity for students in eighth through 12th grades to provide feedback to the City Commission on issues that impact youth.

Members of the Mayor’s Youth Council will engage with city government operations and help the development of city policies. Graduations opened two positions on the council.

“This is an excellent platform for young leaders to learn, grow, and make their voices heard,” a High Springs press release said.
