Each day at Legacy Park Summer Camp, campers will discover new skills, build self-confidence, make new friends,and feel a sense of achievement. Camp activities include art, music, character development, games, sports and other outdoor activities.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided.
Camp tends to fill quickly and space is limited!
Due to COVID-19, summer camp will look quite different this year to comply with federal/state guidance:
Programming will be in small groups. Campers will be with the same group of 10 or less all week, with no mixing with other groups.
Activities that increase the likelihood of community transmission will be eliminated. These include, but are not limited to: Splash Park, large groups, high contact physical activity and off-site travel (possible if we can guarantee social distancing guidelines).Â
All meals will be served in to-go boxes to limit contact with surfaces.
Campers will be separated from one another to avoid large groups. This includes, but is not limited to: meal times, music time, arts and crafts, and all-camp games.
We will administer daily health screenings to monitor for any evidence of symptomatic cases. We will need assurance from families that we can expect prompt pick up if a camper exhibits symptoms or if we suspect a camper may have been exposed.
We will be implementing new check-in and check-out procedures, cleaning protocols, and staff training in accordance with recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, American Camp Association, the State of Florida, and the Alachua County Health Department.

7:30 a.m. – 8 a.m. Breakfast/Drop-Off
8:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Activities
12:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch
12:45 p.m. – 4 p.m. Activities
4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Snack/Pick-Up
Ages: Camp is open to kids ages 5-13.
Fees: $200 per child. Checks payable to: City of Alachua
