Alachua County’s Development Review Committee approved the preliminary and final development plans for a new park in Archer and an Ellianos Coffee near the NW 39th Avenue exit off Interstate 75.
The committee met on Thursday and quickly finished its business, including the approval of pickleball courts within the Oakmont development.
Alachua County plans to build Pinesville Park on SW 170th Street just north of Archer. The two-acre property will be leased from St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, and the site plan includes multi-use basketball and pickleball courts, pavilions, a playground and walking trails.
The new Ellianos Coffee is planned for NW 39th Avenue next to the closed Wahoo Seafood Grill. Access to the drive-thru coffee shop will be from NW 98th Street. The parcel is within the Springhills Activity Center, which already allows this type of land use.
What will this Ellianos do with its spent coffee grounds? Put them in the garbage to go to the landfill (bad) or use a composting service (good)?
Get a life Son. Really?( Maybe you can go by every morning and picjk them up and take ’em home? ). Show how much you really care Ricki.
Ask Elianos.
