The Alachua County Health Department together with the COVID-19 Student Service Corps @ UF will provide free drive-thru COVID-19 testing and flu shots this Saturday at the City of Gainesville’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Multipurpose Center.

When: 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday Dec. 12th

Where: Martin Luther King, Jr. Multipurpose Center fields at 1150 NE 13th Street

Who: All age groups are invited. Children 17 and younger can get tested when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

No doctor’s note is required. The Alachua County Department of Health will provide 500 free coronavirus oral swab tests and the COVID-19 Student Service Corps @ UF will administer the tests on a first-come, first-served basis.

The scheduled testing supports the East Gainesville COVID-19 Testing, Education and Relief Initiative (EGCTERI) which provides residents of East Gainesville with access to coronavirus testing, personal protective equipment and educational information in the fight against coronavirus.
