
The UF College of Pharmacy and community partners will host GatoRX Community Health Fair on Saturday, March 28, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center in Gainesville.
This free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1028 NE 14th St.
The GatoRX Community Care Fair will focus on helping under‑resourced and uninsured individuals by offering free health screenings, information, and support services. Local groups come together to share helpful resources and fun activities for all ages. Everyone is welcome, students, families, neighbors, veterans, senior citizens, and community members of all ages and backgrounds.
The free services that will be available at the event include:
• Food distribution
• Health screenings
• Medication reviews (attendees should bring a list of their current medications)
• Health insurance information
• Pregnancy and child care resources
• Veteran and mental health resources
• Kids activities, including face painting and summer camp information
• CPR and Zumba classes
