HCA Florida North Florida Hospital and HCA Florida Gainesville Emergency will host their annual “Crush the Crisis” prescription drug take back day on Saturday.

The event is in alignment with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is connecting with the Gainesville Police Department (GPD) and HCA Healthcare hospitals throughout the country to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug misuse and the importance of disposing unused or expired medications safely.
