Hyundai Hope on Wheels presented a check for $400,000 to UF Health’s Dr. Ali Zarrinpar on Thursday morning to further pediatric cancer research.

Zarrinpar is a professor in the College of Medicine’s Department of Surgery.

UF Health patients joined officials at the check presentation and placed painted handprints on Hyundai’s Hope vehicle to honor pediatric cancer survivors, those currently undergoing treatments and those who’ve died to the disease.
