Hip Pain Holding You Back?
The speakers are Dr. Thomas Hendricks of UF Health Rehab Center – Celebration Pointe and Dr. Daniel Howgate of UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
Hip pain caused by arthritis can affect walking, sleep and overall quality of life. This seminar will explore treatment options for managing hip pain, beginning with conservative therapies such as physical therapy and progressing to hip replacement when nonsurgical care doesn’t provide relief.
Topics will include signs it may be time to consider surgery, advances in surgical techniques, recovery expectations and rehabilitation. The discussion emphasizes patient-centered decision making and individualized care plans designed to reduce pain, improve mobility and support long-term joint health.
Knee Pain Won’t Go Away?
Speakers are Dr. Michael Borut of UF Health Rehab Center – Celebration Pointe and Howgate.
Knee arthritis can lead to persistent pain, stiffness and difficulty with daily activities. This seminar will discuss a full range of treatment options for knee pain, including physical therapy, lifestyle modifications and knee replacement surgery.
Attendees will learn when surgery may be appropriate, how modern knee replacement works and what to expect before surgery, during recovery and rehabilitation. The presentation highlights shared decision-making and personalized approaches to help patients regain strength, function and confidence.
