UF Health will host a Wellness University seminar on Tuesday, July 14, to help community members understand the critical differences between stroke and heat stroke and learn when to seek emergency medical care.

The free seminar will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, 1714 SW 34th St. in Gainesville. Click here to register.

Presented by Windy Purtlebaugh, APRN, FNP-BC, of UF Health Neurology, the seminar will cover the warning signs and symptoms of both stroke and heat stroke, explain the key differences between the conditions, and provide guidance on when immediate medical attention is needed.
