HCA Florida North Florida Hospital’s West End Emergency facility, located at the corner of W. Newberry Road and NW 122nd Street, won the company’s 2022 HCA Healthcare Unit of Distinction Award.
“West End Emergency’s Unit of Distinction demonstrates the team’s dedication to patient care at the highest level,” Alicia Swanson, NFH Assistant Chief Nursing Officer said in a press release. “We are tremendously proud of the work they do for our community each and every day, and this is just one way to recognize their excellence.”
Based in Nashville, HCA Healthcare began the award in 2015, and only the top 5% of the company’s 2,300 sites receive the distinction.
“Congratulations to all nursing units across HCA Healthcare who work each day to deliver excellent care to patients and to support our community of 93,000-strong nurses,” Dr. Sammie Mosier, senior vice president of HCA Healthcare, said in a press release.
